Coralicious!

Coral nails are definately in this summer, so get your polish at the ready and start painting!
To get the best out of your nails you need to make sure they're in good condition, this means, buffing, filing, conditioning, and a good base and top coat.
Sally hansen has some truly nourishing products to keep your nails strong shiny and healthy.

This is my favourite nail colour, Rimmel 60 Seconds in 430 Coralicious.
It's lovely coral, pinky peach (and it looks beautiful with a tan)
It suits long or short and shaped nails, and finishes off an outfit. I filed and shaped my nails and then applied 1 coat of Sally Hansen Diamond Shine Base & Top Coat, and then let them dry, then 2 coats of the Rimmel polish and once dry i applied another coat of the Sally Hansen and a top coat to prevent it from chipping. And there you go, Shiny beautiful CORAL nails, bang on trend.

A breif review - Benefit Eye Bright, Bad Gal Liner, It Stick and High Brow.

The month of June was a very exciting month. I am a big fan on glanour magazine and July's issue (sold in June) was the benefit issue! They were obviously feeling a little more generous than usual and gave away £45 worth of Benefit makeup!! I couldn't believe it, and i couldn't believe i managed to get my hands on a copy, or three. They're were three products to collect, each came with a copy of the magazine, which are £2. I got three copies of Glamour and all three products, It Stick, Bad Gal Liner and Eye Bright. I feel very lucky.

Bad Gal Liner - Smouldering Black Eye Pencil
I really like this product, the pencil is very thick so it's good for creating a grungy smokey eye if you applied it messily to the eyelid and then smudged. It's not great for precision though and doesn't stay extremely well, as i found out when i looked in the mirror half was through the day and it had somehow transfered from along my upper lash line to quite far underneath my eyes, which wasn't the look i was going for. Still though, it was kind of my fault as a should of really used liquid eyeliner. Would recommend this product for a good smokey eye.

High Brow - A Brow Lifting Pencil
Eye Bright - Instant Eye Brightener

A lovely creamy textured pencil, i use this alot to really lift underneath my eyebrows, don't ever need alot and it stays on well. A good product for anyone older if eyes are drooping slightly and make eyes look tired, Just put a little bit nder the eyebrow on the brow bone and sudge until it just looks lighter. Definately will repurchase when i'm out of it.

Eye Bright - Instant Eye Brightener
A whiteish pink coloured creamy pencil. Very good for lining for waterline to open up the eyes, for a highlight underneath the brow and in the corner of the eye. Stays put very well.

It Stick - Conceal it all Stick

It's in pencil form as are all of the products i recieved, the texture is very creamy, it almost melted as i put it on! Very good coverage, but under the eyes can be cakey and coverage is not buildable. On blemishes it kind of flaked throughout the day and it was visible i was wearing concealer in some areas.

Benefit Hoola Box Blush Review

Benefit is a lovely brand, with a lot of lovely products. The packaging is probably one of the most temtping on the market in my opinion! They always have very original, girly colourful packaging, and the product itself is always good quality. Not always worth the price but it's a treat to own one of their products. Recently i bought a Benefit Box Blusher, I was on the way back from a holiday and on the ferry was looking at the discounted makeup on the benefit counter (which stood out unbelievably.) I desperately needed a bronzer and managed to get this one for £10!! (Usual price - £23.50)
The bronzer is called 'Hoola' and is in a lovely purple box with a picture of bamboo sticks around the sides.
Inside the box should be a handy little brush to apply the powder which had unfortunately been lost, it's not the best quality brush but is perfect for travelling.
The actual bronzer is matte, so is great for contouring, I have olive skin and found this to be a really good colour, it shows up and doesn't look orange at all. I'm not sure it would work on all skin tones as it is quite dark, but maybe if applied lightly all over the face it could bronze you up and give a nice glow.
Overall i think it's a great product for nearly everyone, not orange, buildable colour, gorgeous packaging, Get bronzing! x

My first blog post, hope you enjoy!

Basically i am a makeup and beauty lover, i enjoy doing my own makeup, other peoples makeup, i enjoy watching makeup tutorials, makeup hauls and to be honest i could sit and listen to someone rambling on about makeup for hours. I believe it is an art that takes alot of skill and passion, there is a huge range of makeup brands out in the world and i love experimenting with all kinds. I appreciate quality although i am a sucker for packaging and brand names (I'm sure i am not alone!) I've made this blog to help other people learn more about makeup and to share and recieve tips with any that reads my posts. I'll share as much as i can with you and hopefully you'll enjoy reading it and browsing the many pictures, product reviews and opinions to come! Thankyou, subscribe and anticipate what's yet to come!! Lots of love, Chloe x
